CEO and Owner of ‘The College of Health & Fitness’
Tony Attridge is the Owner and CEO of The College of Health and Fitness (est. 2002). He has lectured at various Universities and Private Training Organisations for over 20 years in fitness, health, sport psychology and wellness. He has been involved in the fitness industry since 1988 and is a Level 3 Strength and Conditioning Coach, a Sport Psychologist, Sports Nutritionist and an Exercise Scientist.
Tony is one of only 30 professional strength and conditioning coaches recognised by ASCA.
He has worked with a range of gold medal winning Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games and National level athletes across a variety of sports. He is also the co-author of Fitness Trainers Essentials published by Pearson Education which is now in its second edition and has presented at both National and International Conferences in the areas of Health and Fitness.

Administration Support Team
Stewart Cooke – Manager
Stewart commenced as Manager of the College at the beginning of 2015. With 20 years in the fitness, sport, community and outdoor recreation industry, he has brought a wealth of knowledge to the College. From sitting on the national Industry Advisory Committee, representing Qld on the national fitness training package reference committee to chairing training package consultations, Stewart has a long and active involvement in the development of training in the industry. He has also managed an industry Skills Formation Strategy, many traineeship projects, government training brokerage and worked for a fitness registration body. When not at work Stewart is most likely to be cycling!
Penny Gower – Compliance
Penny Gower joined the Administration Support team in 2008 and is the longest serving staff member. With a Certificate III in Business, she is currently studying for a Diploma in Management.

Ina Koka – Marketing
Ina Koka started with The College in 2013 and has been a tireless ambassador ever since. With over 22 years experience in the Fitness Industry, starting with QFAC, Ina also worked as a Registration and Training Officer Fitness Queensland. Ina was awarded the 2008 Queensland Fitness Industry Awards of Excellence – Outstanding Industry Contribution and the 2005 Inaugural Fitness Australia Presidential Award. With a Certificate III & Certificate IV in Business she is confident when delivering speeches about the Fitness Industry to various High Schools.
Dave Berry is a dedicated fitness professional with a competitive athletic background. He has spent many years in the fitness industry. Dave has developed his skills over the years in all disciplines of fitness, from Strengthening & Conditioning Coach to Weight Lifting Coach. Dave completed his Certificate III in Fitness, Certificate IV in Fitness, The Diploma of Fitness, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Business Development, Certificate IV in Small Business Management and Level 1 Accreditation in Altitude Training and is a lecturer for the Certificates III & IV in Fitness since 2012. Dave’s commitment and dedication to his work will give others the inspiration and motivation to develop their training to a higher level of professionalism and versatility.
Specialised Exercise Trainer, Bridget Cook BSc joined The College of Health and Fitness in early 2015. Bridget is an experienced instructor in the physical therapies developed by Dr Thie and Dr Dennison, she has been working as a personal trainer and group instructor for 5 years, and has a degree in physiology and food science. Specialist areas include the activation of ‘switched off’ muscles and coordination for the whole body. Bridget has a passion for passing on knowledge that helps people stay fit and healthy. For her, teaching Fitness at TCOHAF is the best job ever!
